It’s been more than a year since I started this blog, and truth be told, I had no huge expectations about anything. I was simply trying to write about and share one of the things that has become beloved to me over the years– cookery, and more specifically, baking. But when something like this comes along, I can’t deny that it makes me and all my efforts feel appreciated.
Recently, I was nominated for the Illuminating Blog Award by Food Stories Blog. Now I know this isn’t exactly an Oscar and this is mostly for fun, but this is my first blogger award. I’ve always wanted one of those cute little badges, and to be nominated by a fellow blogger is always such an honour. It was such a lovely surprise to be chosen!
This award is bestowed upon blogs with illuminating and informative content, and I am glad that someone thinks my blog is such a thing! I really love the sense of community that the Food Blogging world has. It has made me feel good about what I’m doing since I started this blog. All the comments I have had so far have been such kind words of encouragement, and it can only push me to share more delicious things here.
